To this purpose, it uses the EU SDG indicator set and is responsible for its management. It also produces regular statistical monitoring reports on progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals in the EU context. The current report for 2025 is based on a set of 102 indicators, of which 35 are multi-purpose, i.e. they are used to monitor more than one goal. The set of indicators is open and regularly revised in line with future policy developments.
